Hiring Process
At Rehoboth Elderly Care, we are committed to ensuring that our professionals possess the qualifications and skills needed to serve our cherished patients in their community. We employ individuals with proven home healthcare experience so that our patients receive the best care possible.
Applicant Requirements:
- Two (2) Reference Letters
- Home Health Aide/PCA certification from a NYSDOH/DOE-approved school
- Completion of criminal background checks, drug screening, and immunization
- A Physician/NP attestation confirming that the applicant is free from any health impairment that may pose a risk to patients or interfere with their duties (including habituation to depressants, stimulants, narcotics, illegal drugs, or alcohol)
- Annual training as mandated by the NYSDOH
Staff Supervision
Our commitment to quality care is maintained through rigorous staff supervision. A Director of Patient Services (DPS) oversees all clinicians, including caregivers, to ensure the highest standards of care. Patient care is primarily provided by a Registered Nurse (RN) and other clinical staff, with nursing supervisors conducting home visits to verify that caregivers follow the prescribed care plan and to provide additional training as needed.
For further information about patient and family safety, please feel free to contact us. We also offer a free nurse consultation if you require additional support.
